ByBatool was founded by Zahra Batool, a childbirth educator, birth doula, VBAC practitioner coach, and lactation counsellor whose work has centred on helping families approach birth with knowledge, calm, and confidence.

But the story began long before her professional work. Zahra’s first birth ended in a traumatic C-section. With little information and no meaningful support system around her, she was left trying to understand an experience that had changed her deeply.

Her second birth was different. With the guidance of a doula, she experienced what it meant to be prepared, heard, and supported. It changed her perspective on birth, and on the life-changing power of the right information at the right time. That experience led her to explore how childbirth education and doula care are woven into maternity support across global societies. She saw what was possible when evidence-based education is paired with steady, human care, and she knew women and families here deserved that too.

Raised in Saudi Arabia, Zahra has since spent years supporting expecting couples through childbirth education, birth preparation, VBAC guidance, and breastfeeding support. Her experience includes helping establish a natural childbirth department within a Saudi medical organisation and supporting more than 1,000 expecting couples as part of that team.

Through these conversations, one need became impossible to ignore: families do not only need information. They need to feel heard, respected, and equipped to make decisions that are right for them. ByBatool was born from that belief. It is where evidence-based education meets cultural understanding, helping women and families replace uncertainty with clarity, fear with preparation, and isolation with meaningful support.

At its heart, byBatool holds a simple conviction: when a woman is trusted with knowledge, care, and agency, motherhood can become a powerful beginning, not something she simply has to get through.
